Designed to NFPA 72
Every fire alarm system we design follows NFPA 72, the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, which governs detection, notification, and signal transmission requirements. NFPA 72 also sets the testing and inspection intervals your system will need going forward — commonly monthly, semiannual, and annual checks depending on the device type — so a code-compliant design today sets up a manageable maintenance schedule later.
Our Design Process
Life-safety analysis — occupancy type, building size, and existing fire protection systems (like sprinklers) determine detection and notification requirements.
Device layout — smoke and heat detectors, pull stations, and notification appliances placed per NFPA 72 spacing and coverage rules.
Integration — the alarm design is coordinated with sprinkler waterflow switches and other building fire safety systems so everything reports to one panel.
PE-stamped documents & AHJ review — drawings are stamped in-house and submitted for plan review alongside any related sprinkler permit.
